Teaching Real - Time Systems in an Information Systems

چکیده
Computers have entered into all walks of our life and products made by real-time technology are innumerable. Higher education institutions must see this trend and prepare their gradates to satisfy society's needs. Information Systems curriculum recommended by DPMA 1] is not adequate in this regard. In this paper, we explain our rationale in incorporating real-time systems into our information systems program, the course contents, laboratory setup, projects given to students, and experiences we gained in teaching this course.
